Something to ponder about

In case you're wondering...
I've found the perfect job for those racers wannabes out there.
Yup, it's perfectly legal and you'll be respected.
What job would it be?
Haha...
Make a guess...
No?
It's being a police officer!
Not convinced?
It's perfectly true!
Which job places you in the situation where if you were to speed, other motorists wouldn't complain about you? In fact, they would give way to you!
The assumption most people have when they see a police car speeding would be "There's an emergency and the police officers need to get there fast"
That's it, no further questions asked.
Well, how's that for a job, being able to speed legally and commanding respect from the people for attending to emergencies that they themselves are unable to resolve...
But suppose there isn't any emergency in the first place and the police car is speeding...
Is it right to do that?
I've seen police cars speeding and their red/blue lights ain't flashing and the alarms ain't howling...
Is there an emergency which warrants the police to travel at a much higher speed and not use the alarm?
Or is the police officer just plainly speeding and not giving not much thought because he is the enforcer of law and as such, there wouldn't be any repercussions from the public at all?
Reason it being: If they're the enforcer of law, what they are doing must be legal and they have the right to do that.
To speed blatantly when there's no emergency... For a police office to be doing that, does it still constitutes to him/her not adhering to the rules and regulations of the road?
Next is my question...
Can the traffic police catch other police for speeding?
Hmm... Real interesting...
I wonder...
ps: I'm not encouraging you to join the police just so you can speed... You join because you want to help people and uphold the law...

Police police.... haiz... join for the sake of speeding? Not worth la.... They will need to give explanation for breaking the certain speed limit... else they'll get those warning letters and there goes their promotion...

And yes... traffic police can summon other police vehicles... Weird? That's how the police force works....
