Some people like to lament about their problems, and how f-up the system is. They don't wanna appear overtly concern and thus try to have the 'bochap' attitude.

But why?!?

I try offering advice on what are the possible solutions that could be taken, and get brushed off instead.

I'm trying to help here, but if you don't wanna do anything but adopt the 'wait and see' attitude, i've got nothing to say.

BUT STOP COMPLAINING!!!

There's a saying, "God helps those who help themselves."

So if you don't wanna help yourself or receive help, it suits me anyway.

I'm gonna wash my hands of this situation.
