Trueno AE86

With the movie showcase of 'Initial D', i'd think most of the fans of of TRUENO AE86 would clamour for a chance to be able to see one in action in Singapore.
Well, although i'm not a fan of this car, i managed to have a chance to see this car, up close and personal. Though at a ungodly hour, haha.
At around 3 a.m, i was returning home after meeting my SAS friends for supper, while at the traffic junction, of all cars, this AE86 drove up beside me. Well, i was quite surprised to see it as i never knew the Hougang area has this car.
I must say, the owner has put quite alot of effort in making sure his car look exactly like the one in 'Initial D' because to me, i could see no difference at all. Good Job!
Anyway, being the type of driver as all my friends knows me to be, i decided to do a little experiment. Because both our cars are at the same starting position and both of us have to make a right turn immediately after the traffic light, i decided to test out if my car's cornering speed could match up with the Trueno's. Anyway, there's no harm in doing that in my opinion...
With the lighting up of the the green light, VROOM!
Both of us were on the go!
(I think the driver of the AE86 knew that i would try to challenge him, haha)
Anyway, both of us floored the accelerator and you could hear the tyres screeching as we turned to our right.
Needless to say, you can tell who the winner is if you know what car i drive.
Haha, i shall end it here let and you all guess who won...

BTW, the car below is the one i drive... So make a guess...

I wanna drive a car

I wanna drive a car
Not just any, mind you
Has to be a Mini, SLK or an Aston
And that's not the end
Add a Noble in all that too

Mini's for fun
SLK's for work
Aston's for collection
And Noble's for speed
Now do you think it's cool?

Would you buy those cars for me?

Another '无聊' (nothing-to-do) thingy

Everytime Ben comes out with this type of things, i'll always go ahead to try... Too curious about what my love type is like... haha

Your Love Style is Agape

You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.

Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.

You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.

Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.

For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.

I'm a terrorist! And something more...

In case you're wondering...
Here's a rundown of what happened today.
I went for a soccer match at Boon Keng. It's a place called St Wilfred's. The pitch there is very good. Not like those bald fields you'll normally see people playing in...
Anyway the team i was playing for lost, haha... Don't ask the score, it's kinda embarrassing...
Well, after the match, we proceeded to have our lunch before going home. Stepping into the MRT station, i was approached by the MRT security personnel who asked in a very polite manner, "Sir, mind if we were to check your bag?"
I was dead tired, so i just said "Sure", then i was unzipped my bag to show them my soccer shoes and my smelly clothes. They just took a look and said "Thank you." So i just zipped up my bag and proceed to make my way home.
Now that i'm home, i'm thinking... What the heck just happened? What was the checking of the bag all about? Was it because the bag i was carrying looked too suspicious (it' a Ripcurl travel bag by the way), or was it because i looked like a terrorist? And the way they check my bag was ineffective it seems. If they're conducting a bag check, it would seem they're not doing such a thorough job at all. I opened my bag to show them what was the content inside as requested, but in actual fact they saw nothing at all. Everything was wrapped up in 2 big red plastic bags, the only visible stuff were my 'toilette de homme' and my water bottle. My my.. we have people who have X-ray eyes living in this world after all. If not, they're just doing the check for show, nothing more to it.
I've nothing against the security personnel for checking my nag, it's for security of the mass. That i appreciate. But how would you feel if you discover that the job was not thorough at all and something were to happen because of that?
Ps: Do i look like a terrorist or a highly suspicious character? I'm befuddled by that.

Driving

Ok... This is quite a '无聊' topic... (i don't know what's the english translation for '无聊'... Maybe it's 'nothing to do'?)
Well, i officially got my driving license in Feburary, just two days before my Birthday and Chinese New Year. In a way, it's kinda like a birthday gift and a 'red packet' for me. But the only thing i can say is that i'm really lucky to be able to get it after letting it drag on for so long.
2 years!
Can you imagine i let it dangle for so long? But luckily i managed to get it in my first attempt and at a minimal cost. ($900+ at Comfort Driving Centre.. Can you beat that?)
Hmm.. Anyway, after 4 months of driving, i realised how terrible my driving is. Haha, those who've sat in my car would know how i drive. Sorry!!!
I've tried cornering at 80+Km/hr... (Quite exhilarating)
I've tried drifting the car... (Unsuccessful, my car is too stable)
My minimal on road speed is 75 km/hr.. (Too dangerous, i think)
I cut into a space just barely enough for my car on the expressway (Too scary, shan't do that again)
There's alot of other crazy antics that i did while driving but i shan't list least i get into trouble.
Of course i believe there are drivers that do much crazier stuff while on the road and let's hope they would realise their mistakes before something happen. (Don't worry, nothing happened while i was driving. I'm trained in handling traffic situations)
Things i hate when i'm on the road:
1) People cutting in without signalling.
2) People trying to cut in at the last minute because the road's congested.
3) People trying to cut in just because they drive a big car.
4) People tailgating me.
5) People who weave in and out of lanes like a snake.
6) People who don't signal. (2nd time it appears, i really hate it!)
There... See the list? All of it belongs to a category called 'On-road Courtesy' and i absolutely believe that any people who does any of the above mentioned do not possess it at all. Let me let you in on something: I do not give way when any one does any of that to me. If it's gonna become an accident, so be it. I can afford to let the car be damaged. But can you? And let me tell you, if you're the one causing me to have the accident, i'll make your car a total lost. Let's see if you can afford to buy a new car.
So let's all cooperate and show some basic courtesy shall we? Make the roads a safer place for all to drive in.
And so to start off, i shall pledge that i'll be a safe and conscientious driver. What better way than to start from myself eh? (I always signal! It's just that i drive too fast, you can say i'm a speed demon)

True or Not?

Well.. It's time to update my blog! Didn't get a chance last week at all as i was helping my friend out in his company. Was totally beat everytime i reached home. I cannot believe how he manages to cope with this work load everyday. Really have to give it to him...
Anyway, i just went over to Ben's blog and i saw this 'The Keys to Your Heart'
Interesting...
So i went to try it out...
Wah! 90% is true...
Not sure are they really accurate or is it just a coincidence.
I'll just post my result and you judge for yourself.
What really happens i'll just leave it to God...

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.

In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.

Ps: Who knows how to get rid of that few spaces between my post and the results... Looks so ugly...
